IPSE Umbrella membership is perfect for individuals who provide their services via an umbrella company.
In addition to receiving all the benefits of a Community membership, Umbrella members also have access to vital protections to help them minimise risk and protect their income such as cover for jury service and umbrella default, as well as run-off IR35 enquiries cover.

Tax investigation cover
If your tax affairs are investigated by HMRC, IPSE will provide you with a team of experts who can take this off your plate, and financial cover for legal fees up to £50k.
Run-off IR35 enquiries cover
This cover provides up to £25k indemnity for representation to deal with an enquiry by HMRC into the application of the IR35 legislation on historical contracts.
Jury service cover
Umbrella members can get compensated up to £2,500 if they lose income due to getting called up for jury service.
Umbrella default cover
Get protected if you have an outstanding invoice with an umbrella company that is going bankrupt or into administration.
