Freelancer membership is for self-employed professionals providing services directly to their clients as a sole trader or freelancer.
In addition to receiving all the benefits of a Community membership, Freelancer members also have access to vital protections to help them minimise risk and protect their income.

Illness and injury cover
If you are ill or injured for three or more weeks and cannot work, IPSE will compensate you up to £1,500 for any loss of earnings.
Jury service cover
IPSE compensates Freelancer members with up to £2,500 if you lose income due to getting called up for jury service.
Tax investigation cover
If your tax affairs are investigated, IPSE will provide you with a team of experts who can take this off your plate, financial cover for legal fees up to £50k, and up to £250 per day compensation for tax compliance meetings up to £750.
Contract failure cover
If your end client or agency don’t meet the terms of the contract you have in place with them, we'll compensate you up to £1,000.
Managed Service Company cover
Receive advice, regular Q&A sessions and protection from the next steps of HMRC’s enquires if they are involved in an MSC investigation.
