IPSE Director membership is ideal for self-employed contractors and individuals who operate through a limited company.

Jury service cover
Get up to £5,000 if you lose income due to getting called up for jury service. This applies whether you are working via a limited company or an umbrella.
Illness and injury cover
If you are ill or injured for three or more weeks and cannot work, IPSE will compensate you up to £2,000 for any loss of earnings.
Member Support Programme
Confidential support accessible from anywhere, at any time, enabling you to speak in confidence to an accredited counsellor or subject specialist for emotional, financial, and legal support.
End client and agency failure cover
Get protected with up to 10k for loss of earnings if you have an outstanding invoice with an end client or agency that is going bankrupt or into administration.
Contract failure cover
Get compensated up to £1,000 if you find yourself in a situation where the agency you’re working through or your end client doesn’t meet the terms of the contract that you have with them.
Managed Service Company cover
Receive advice, regular Q&A sessions and protection from the next steps of HMRC’s enquires if you are involved in an MSC investigation.
Tax & IR35 investigation cover, including pre-dispute
If your tax affairs are investigated by HMRC, IPSE will provide you with a team of experts who can take this off your plate, and financial cover for legal fees up to £100k. IPSE Director members can also receive up to £500 per day compensation for tax compliance meetings up to £1500, as per your contract at the time.
